"Tell about... a time you didn't go."
RIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!! Sixth period. Only one more hour left. One more hour until the halls are filled with the near-constant frenzy of students, everyone rushing outside in the hope of securing a good seat on a bus. One more hour until the bell rings and we all go home. But it's fun, I enjoy it. As I head upstairs toward my next class, I get caught up in that frenzy. Friends are shouting greetings to each other and chatting all around me. Some people walk quietly, not talking to others. Sometimes I just want to say hi and walk next to them.
Well, it's time for another journal entry, friends. Tell me, do you have something that you wished that you had gone to but you missed? Maybe you didn't go on a field trip because you were feeling bad, or a big game that you couldn't go to because of homework. Well, today's post is all about decisions and missed opportunities. When I was little, my grand parents took me to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I remember it as one of the best times of my life, partially because i couldn't believe that I was going to Disney World; and partially because it was so amazing at such a young age. We stayed the whole day, making our way around to see all of the sections of the park, and of course, go on some rides. One of the times I remember most from the trip is when we went on a Peter Rabbit-themed water ride. After winding through the ride and following the story, being bumped and jostled the entire way, the ride ended at a huge drop at a waterfall that splashed water over everyone on board. I went on this ride over and over again, even though I was in constant fear of the terrifying drop that I knew would come.
